I strive to make the world a more beautiful place every day by creating and providing abstract wholesale art to architects and designers.
On this site are my creations. After 30 years in the Design and Specification business, my art is designed to be distinctive, abstract and individual. Occasionally surprising, sometimes calm, but always completely controlled, yet random at the same time. I love using shine, reflection and texture, as well as composition, scale and variety to create unique one-of-a-kind visuals.
I specialize in wholesale-to-the-trade large-scale, ready-to-hang, abstract art at affordable prices, and am recognized by the Architects, Interior Designers, Specifiers, and Retailers I work with for quick turn-around times and quantities. (Looking forward to collaborating with your Design Professional, Sales Representative or Purchasing agent!) My website is filled with wonderful inventory of many shapes and sizes that can quickly be delivered… more often than not, this week or the next day! Local or shipped to your door nationally or internationally.
I do beautiful paintings by mixing and matching styles, colors, textures, professionally wrapped canvases that are ready to hang and size to create the perfect piece to bring more beauty into your world.
Materials include: Acrylics, Metallic Paints, Oils, Watercolors, Crystals, Semi-Precious Stones, Glitter, Silver and Gold Leaf; Metal Paints is a new product and is perfect for an architectural look of “rusted metals” at a fraction of the cost of full-surface products.
Pittsburgh’s North Side is where I have my studio/gallery/loft and I have called it home for 35 years. Being situated between The Mattress Factory Museum and Randy Land is just about as centrally located as one can get in the “artistic energies” of Pittsburgh!

FEATURED ARTISTS
Alice Emig
Featured Artist: Alice Emig especially loves working with pastels, but you will see watercolor, ink, crayon, and assemblage in her work, too. She tends to work fast and intensely when inspiration strikes!
Randy Gilson
Featured Artist: Randy Gilson.
Featured Artist: Randy Gilson is owner of RandyLand on Pittsburgh’s North Side, in the Mexican War Streets Historic Neighborhood. Randy has been involved in the beautification of his home and neighborhood for over 30 years; now, a focal point and tourist destination for visitors from all over the word! It was in this close-knit community where he and Fred Bainbridge first met, moving in only blocks from one another. Their friendship has spanned decades.
Gardening, painting, greeting visitors or whatever stirs his fancy, Randy embodies creativity, joy, fun, is and just a good human being. He works in many mediums but enjoys acrylics for most painting projects. His paint is on EVERTHING and EVERYWHERE! Letting the energies come through him and onto the art object is how Randy sees his creations. “Sometimes I have to just allow the creative energy to flow and come out of me, I just HAVE TO!”
“I've been a North-Sider for decades and look forward to all my creative friends visiting! It is always SO EXCITING! Peace man! Rock On! and LOVE ONE ANOTHER! THAT’S THE BEST!“ - Randy
P.S. See you at RandyLand!
Patty Frankhouser
Featured Artist: Patty Frankhouser.
Professional Affiliations: I was actively involved with ASID until recently, for YEARS.
They are a great group of professionals who love design and art.
I'm a graduate of the Art Institute and that was just the beginning for me. I lived in Texas for years and was involved in the arts community there. I loved especially life drawing.
I continued on once I moved back to Pittsburgh, with classes at the Carnegie and the Center for the arts.
I work alot in watercolors. But like Fred I enjoy doing large canvases in acrylics or oils.
I think what I love the most is Color. I love working with contrasting colors and pulling in other colors to make a piece work. I love to travel so my travels are brought home in art.
I've been a South sider for years but I am planning on a move soon. So we'll see what
is in store for me. I'm sure it will be exciting
Thank you
Patty
